A Girl's Checklist On Makeup

As a little girl reaches her teenage years, she will more often than not start to have more interest in the clothes she wears, in the latest fashion trends there is and of course, in make up. Boys always say that they much prefer women who do not wear makeup and are fresh looking all the time, then why is it that the girls never believe assertion? Because these boys do not get to see the look on their faces as they gape and gawk in amazement on the beauty of women who wear or well put on makeup. After all what is not to like? What with those radiant blushing cheeks or those sexy shaded eyes. While lips may look naturally pink, they become a sexy red or crimson with some lipstick on.

However, girls should be well aware of their limitations when it comes to make up. Improper application of those eye shadows could cause one to look like she has just been punched in the face instead of looking all stunning and lovely in the hues that makeup offers. So to avoid the black eyed look, here are a few important tips that all girls and makeup users should keep in mind.

* Choose makeup that complements your skin. This perhaps is the most important thing to remember when choosing what make up to purchase and to put on. You would be surprised to find out how a little difference in shade can make you look hostile and unattractive. The advise is to get makeup more particularly foundation or concealers that match your skin tone well. Place the make up against the side of your face and look yourself up in the mirror to see if the shades are in tone. Do not hesitate to ask the store salesperson for her opinion on which is the best tone of foundation that can complement your skin. Some stores offer test makeup which you can try to put on so you can really see the results if they fit you or not before you make the actual item purchase. Lots of girls tend to choose make up that is the current trend. It does not always follow that because it is what's in, it will look better on anyone and everyone.

* Less is always more. What people need to remember that when it comes to make up, the old saying stays true, “less is always more.” Keep your mascara and eye liner to a minimum, just enough to highlight your eyes. Brush on some blush that is sufficient to give your cheeks that rosy glow and likewise, put on lipstick at a bare minimum. When putting the lipstick on check that they are on your lips, not your teeth, on your cheeks or on the sleeves of your dress. Make sure to blend in your blush with the color of your lipstick. Too much makeup might end up you looking like a clown and that definitely does not paint a pretty picture.
